Transcript of Personal Writing - The many stories of Otara

Personal Writing Activity PURPOSE:

Why do we have personal writing?

What is it for? Here is a piece of personal writing.

What do you think of it? You are going to have a go at your own personal writing - What things will you try to include in it? Your Mission:

You and a friend will walk from one side of the field to the other. While you are walking across the field you and you friend will discuss the things you can see, hear and smell. As you are walking discuss a happy memory you have about growing up in Otara. Make sure you both have a turn to share a memory each.

Make notes on your sheet.

You may also use a digital camera to take pictures of each other talking about your happy memories.

How can you turn these memories into an interesting piece of writing? tara.tj@gmail.com Dont FORGET! We only have 2 cameras
so plan your shot before
you take it from other people
