Welcome!!
To The Enchanted Woodland.
Today we are going to be talking about 2 deciduous trees and 2 coniferous trees.We will also be looking at the deciduous and coniferous tree leaf shapes ,And last but not least we will be talking about tree cookies.
A deciduous tree is a plant or shrub .There leaves fall off there trees in winter and autumn. Some trees you can see at The Enchanted Woodland is red maple trees and golden willow trees.
What is a coniferous tree?
A coniferous tree is a plant or shrub with needle leaves .These trees leaves dont ever fall off of there tree. Some trees you can see at The Enchanted Woodland are spruse trees and pine trees.

A spruce tree is known for a picea [a scientific name for spruce].These tree can live for 550 years or even older.You can see these trees where the enterance of the park is .
A pine tree is known as a pinus [a scientific name for pine].These trees can live for 5000 years.You can see these trees in the very back of the park .
A red maple tree is known for a acer [ a sceintific name for maple].Red maple tree dont live for very long .These trees can only live for 80 to 100 years .You can see these trees all over the park.
A golden willow is known as a salix [ a scientific name for golden willow].There are many different types of golden willow tree .These trees die depending on the climate surrounding them .You can also see these trees all over the park .

-Leaf is whorled
WHAT IS A TREE COOKIE?
A plant having a main woody stem , or trunk that usually developes branches at some distance from the ground .
