Thousands of years ago they had to be trade things that were value and important to you. But they had problems which were they were lacked value, didn't last long and they were heavy.
Each culture had a currency. they had to be light, valuable, rare and hard to find.Examples Shells, Feathers, salt and colorful stones. Roman solders paid with salt.
Invisible Money
Checks were part of money
which now we use. Banks take care of a persons money. We use debit cards to take cash from the bank. Credit cards are used to pay interest.Interest get bigger the more time it takes to pay back.
Paper Money
Chinese money started like this. T'sai first invented paper time period 1900.700 hundreds years had passed until paper was used .When they runed out of copper

Chines money started like this. First t'sai lun invented copper.1900.The paper wasn't usefd until 700 years passed.The goverment runded outof copper.They had to do the paper money by hand.They used wooden blocks.they actually used ink but coins were still avilable.Then a European(Johannes Gutenberg)invented a machine in 1400 wich made everything easear.
