Transcript of Hitler's Rise to Power

Hitler's Rise To Power Who? Adolf Hitler was once a part of the Bavarian regiment and fought in WWI for Germany. After the war ended, he became involved in politics and was #55 in the German Worker's Party. He soon became a leader of this group which came to be known as the Nazis. Time Period This event began 1919 when Hitler joined politics and ended around 1945 when the Holocaust ended and Hitler's reign finally ended. During this time of genocide he killed over 11 million people including 6 million Jews and 5 million Non-jews. Where? Hitler's rise occured in Germany. This was the place where the monster was born and gained all of his power. Germany was where the Holocaust happened as well, in which Hitler commited mass genocide, killing millions of people. Why? Hitler's tyranny and rise to power happened not only because of his childhood, but because he truly believed the Aryan race was the best and wanted everyone to believe the same. He took advantage of Germany's terrible time and used the Jews as a scapegoat when Germany was looking for one. http://geology.com/world/germany-map.gif In The End... Eventually, Hitler did fall and the Holocaust ended as well as the tyranny over Germany, but even today people still learn about and remember the terrible events that happened in Germany because of Hitler's evil rise to power. http://chuckwarnockblog.files.wordpress.com/2009/10/hitler_w_youngmen.jpg Sources Pictures http://i.telegraph.co.uk/telegraph/multimedia/archive/00681/adolf-hitler-joke-4_681576c.jpg http://www.electricscotland.com/thomson/images/20.19%20AdolfHitler.jpg http://sherryx.files.wordpress.com/2009/04/holocaust00.jpg Info http://www2.dsu.nodak.edu/users/dmeier/Holocaust/hitler.html http://www.time.com/time/photogallery/0,29307,1707887,00.html http://www.infoplease.com/ce6/people/A0858634.html http://history.sandiego.edu/gen/ww2timeline/prelude03.html http://edthemanicstreetpreacher.files.wordpress.com/2009/08/hitler.jpg By: Derek Tolliver and Austin Almanza Genocide I think Hitler's rise to power is related to genocide because most people think of Hitler they think of the holocaust and how he killed so many people. For instance, the genocide in Darfur has killed almost 400,000 civilians and removed 2.5 million people from their homes. This is a lot like the Holocaust except on a much a smaller scale. Imagine the genocide in Darfur x30 and then it's as big as the Holocaust. That's how much death Hitler caused.
