Transcript of Childhood Cancer
In the song it was talking about Ronan who was diagnosed neuroblastoma at the age of three. Neuroblastoma is a cancer that is found in children usually at the age of ten years and younger.
Neuroblastoma is a cancer that starts in early nerve cells found in an embryo or a fetus
What was in the song
Taylor Swift was following the blog about Ronan that his mother was making and when she heard the he had died she called up his mother and asked to have a meeting with her a write a song about him. One of the things that the moterh had said to Ronan was "Come on baby with me we are going to fly away from here" she said what she meant was that he should give up fighting and everything will be ok. anotehr thing she said was"What if I'm standing in your closet trying to talk to you? What if I kept the hand-me-downs you won't grow into? And what if I really thought some miracle would see us through? What if the miracle was even getting one moment with you?" This affected me so much because it is so true adn when you loose someone especially someone so young you just wish you could see them one more time.

Why I chose this topic
I chose this topic because I heard a song called Ronan by Taylor Swift. The song was about a boy named Ronan who died from childhood cancer at the ages of four. When I heard this song it really impacted me because when my step mother was pregnant for the first time the pregnancy was going well until one shobbas when she was 8 months pregnant she didn't feel any movement so i was rushed to my aunt's house and she was rushed to the hospital where she gave birth to a fully developed baby boy.
