Solar energy-Energy that comes from the sun
Acceleration-Increase in the rate or speed of something.
Axle-A rod or spindle (either fixed or rotating) passing through the center of a wheel or group of wheels: "axle grease"; "axle loads".
Gears-One of a set of toothed wheels that work together to alter the relation between the speed of a driving mechanism

Our problem is that we have to engineer a solar powered car using the materials we are given that can travel straight for 10 feet.
We have to engineer and build a car using energy from the sun to make it move.
