Who Are We?
There are 53 million Latinos living in the United States, that gives us the world's second-largest Hispanic population.
Hispanics are the largest minority group in the U.S., making up 17 percent of the total population. That's one out of six people.
Over the next 25 years, that portion will grow to 30 percent.
The U.S. Hispanic population grew by 43 percent between 2000 and 2010, four times faster than the general rate.
Every fourth baby born in the U.S. is Hispanic; over the next five years, nearly all of the growth in the number of teens will come from the growing Hispanic population.
