Transcript of Preparing project using Reaper - IMP week 2

Preparing project using Reaper
Hardware settings
Go to "Options / Preferences " and set input and output device and also sample rate and buffer size and number of buffers. The latency is calculated on fly. Sample rate was set for project before. If you want use sample rate given in "Project Properties" instead of sample rate of device you can mark it here.
Hello, my name is Michał Olek and I live in Wrocław, Poland. This presentation is done for assignment for week 2 of Introduction to Music Production on Coursera.org.

It describes how to set up project using Reaper DAW

This was really simple:
Go to "File / Project Settings " and ...
Digital Audio Preferences and Recording File Type
... on first tab you can set
sample rate to 48kHz ...
... and on tab "Media" you can set file
bit depth and file type. 24 bit depth
is default when file type is "AIFF".
Project Name and Location
It is enough to choose from menu "File" then "Save Project As ... " and then find suitable place on hard disk and supply name for .RPP file. This place will be the place of project and the name of file will be the name of project
