Sapphire What is a Sapphire A sapphire is made of mineral corundum and aluminum oxide. You can find sapphires in Madagascar, Thailand, India, Australia and Montana. But these are only some of the places you can find sapphires. The thing that makes a sapphire so fancy is that it comes in colors such as blue, green, purple, white, red, yellow and pink.
