According to the Hindu Calendar, there are 6 seasons in a year.
 
The six Indian seasons classified in the Hindu scriptures are:
1. Spring
2. Summer
3. Monsoon
4. Autumn
5. Pre-winter
6. Winter
AGRICULTURE


FAMILY

Family plays a significant role in the Indian culture. For generations, India has had a prevailing tradition of the joint family system
India is multi-cultural and multi-religious society.
Many states and religions have different festivals.

FOOD & SPICES

MARRIAGE

The saffron stands for courage, sacrifice and the spirit of renunciation

The white is meant for purity and truth

The green represents faith and fertile
Among them are: love,Courage,Patience,Tranquility Harsh,Fidelity,Goodness,Kindness,Self-control, Selfless,Autos sacrifice ,Truth,Righteousness, Justice and Mercy....
The twenty-four lightning chakra wheel represent twenty four virtues
India is one of the most religiously diverse nations
in the world.



RELIGIONS

80% of the people are Hinduism
Islam is practiced by around 13%
of all Indians Sikhism, Jainism and especially Buddhism are influential not only in India but across the world

LANGUAGES


There are 415 living languages
Two official languages of communication
Hindi and English

India is known for its love for food and spices,is the worlds second largest producer of food after china.
For centuries,arranged marriages have been the tradition in Indian society,The divorce rate is extremely low compared with about 50% in the United States.
FESTIVALS
Sculpture in india date back
to the indus valley civilization.

Where stone and bronze figures
have been discovered.

Indian temple carvings are world famous.

India is one of the global leaders in the agriculture.
The second largest producer of rice and wheat in the world.

CLOTHES

Traditional clothing in India greatly varies across different parts of the country
It is influenced immensely by local culture, geography and climate.
Popular styles of dress include draped garments.
MUSIC & DANCE

The music of india includes multiple varieties of religious:

folk
pop
classical music

There are many well-known dance forms.

SYMBOLISM
Peacocks symbolize grace, pride,and beauty.

The lotus represents
long life, honour,
and good fortune
Tiger is respected in India for its strength and grace, as well as its incredible power.

the cow is consider as a symbol of ahimsa.Feeding a cow is seen as an act of worship.

India is a country with many aspects,
cultures,
foods,temples and festivals.
It is considered a poor country,but it is rich in spiritually!

India is the largest country in South Asia. The word "Indian" comes from Sindhu, a local name for the Indus River
