Transcript of 4th Amendment

The fourth amendment states that you have the right to privacy.
It also says that cops cant search your house without a search warrant.
I t was Passed by Congress September 25, 1789. Ratified December 15, 1791.
During that period President James Madison was the president. (March 4, 1809 – March 4, 1817)
It was created because police were just entering peoples houses and people didn't feel like they had any privacy
