Phase 1 Phase 2 Results Tracking the topic:
Family Prezi by JJ Abides By Harper Lee Theme 1: Family always has each other's back. Supporting quotes: 1. Aunt Alexandra came to town to help Atticus. 2. Cal taking Jem and Scout to church when Atticus was out. 3. Jem taking care of Scout. Theme 2: Family is most Supporting Quotes: 1. Scout beats her cousin up for calling Atticus a "Nigger lover." (Pg. 110-111) 2. Atticus drives Cal home and treats her as part of the family. 3. Jem, Scout, and Dill find Atticus guarding a door to the Maycomb jail and help Atticus relieve the situation, rather than Atticus telling them to go to bed. Theme 3: Family sticks together. No one gets left behind. Supporting quotes: 1. Aunt Alexandra wants to kick out Calpurnia, but Atticus refuses because Atticus thinks she's part of the family. 2. Mr. Cunningham jumps on Scout and Jem. Jem tells Scout to run, but Scout refuses and stays for Jem. 3. Jem was stuck under a fence at Boo Radley's house and Scout and Dill helped him get from under the fence.
