Compare and Contrast
By: Zachary Nelson

One of Ponyboys older brothers Soda(pop) Patrick Curtis, is really nice and responsible. I also have a responsible and caring older brother. My brother also makes us food sometimes, just like Soda does for Ponyboy and the others.
I don't smoke
Ponyboy smokes sometimes to calm down. He grew up with brothers and friends who smoked, so it's a normal thing for him. I am different because I don't smoke. Also I didn't grow up with brothers and friends who smoked
In The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton, the main character is Ponyboy Michael Curtis. In the book his parents have been killed. They died in an automobile accident, so he lives with his two older brothers. I however, have parents that take great care of me.
Ponyboy and his brothers love chocolate milk. They have it like everyday. My family loves it too. We ALWAYS have some in our kitchen.
Ponyboy is used to being afraid because they need to watch out for the socs. He look at crime in a whole different way than I do. He looks at it like it's normal. I look at it like a tragedy. I also don't have to worry much because I have a secure house and other things to protect me.
I have parents
I have a nice older brother too.
Chocolate milk
Ponyboy likes to watch a lot of movies. He goes and sees them often. My family does the same, we also watch them very often at home
