Intermediate Schoolers Socioemotional Development covers changes
in a person's emotions, relations with others,
self-concept, and personality,
which is a stable way of thinking,
feeling, and behaving. Bullying Family Socio-Emotional Development Family support is crucial at this stage which characterized by
success and failure. Family And what if they do not find a support
in their own family ? :( They get easily FRUSTRATED. :( During late childhood, a wide variety of biological, psychological and social changes take place across the developmental domains.
As children progress through late childhood, the family environment remains extremely important. Community Environment (e.g. School) also becomes a significant factor in shaping the child's development .
During late childhood, peers have an increasingly strong impact on development; peer acceptance becomes very important to well-being. Ideas Big and.... ... small Bullying is a pattern of aggressive behavior meant to hurt or cause discomfort to another person. Bullies always have more power than victims. Their power comes from physical size, strength, status, and support within the peer group. What is Bullying ? What are the types of Bullying ? Physical - a person is harmed or
their property damage. Verbal - a person's feelings are hurt
through insults. Social - a person is shunned or excluded
from groups and events. Three types of Bullying The End :) Children who are being bullied: complain of being poorly treated
change their behavior
be unwilling to leave the house, change their route to school, or skip school
start doing poorly in school
