My Quote
"Never give up, keep pushing forward because one day good will come to you."
-Nicholas Nobles

This quote means that even when bad comes you got to keep pushing forward, never give up. Do not let the clouds of life get in the way of your light. This quote is special to me because it reminds me that no matter what comes my way I can always push forward and good will come. I should never just give up because bad things happen. Good things will always come.
I choose this picture because it shows that no matter how small you are, if you work hard you can accomplish anything.
What does it mean?
"Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work as hard," (Tim Tebow). This quote means that just because your not something now, doesn't mean you can be that something. Don't let anyone every tell you your not good enough. If you work hard then it will beat anyone's talent because talent does not work hard. Tim Tebow feels this way because he has dyslexia. However, just because he has it, it does not stop him from doing what he wants to do. He is going to work hard in his life and move on.
Historical Events
Tim Tebow was born on 1987 in the Philipines. He played football as a kid and through high school and soon went to thr university of Florida to play football in 2006. Tebow was drafted ti the Broncos in 2010 and then to the Jets later. however he is no longer playing pro football but this quote will still help him. it keeps showing him to work hard in anythung he does in life.
Dear Tim Tebow,
Hello, my name is Nicholas Nobles, I am a 9th grader at Conway High School. I have wrote you today to tell you that I loved reading your book "Through My Eyes" and are hoping to get one of your other books. you are an amazing person and your quote, "hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work as hard" really helps me in life.

Short Story
One morose afternoon, Bob and Bill were walking home after school. Bob had been quiet all day long and had not said a word to Bill. Therefore, Bill asked him what was wrong and he said, "I'm not good at anything and I never will be. I am not good at anything." Bill didn't say anything back but just thought for a while and said, "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work as hard. You should remember this quote Bob, don't let anyone every tell you that you can do something. Prove them wrong and work hard to beat their talent. Do not give up." A smile came upon Bobs face and then the sun shone out form behind the clouds and shone down on Bill and Bob.
How do I feel?
I strongly agree with this quote because if you work hard for something that you want then you will get it because you worked hard. Just because your not smart doesn't mean you can't be smart. Work hard for the things you want because talent will not always get you far in life.
1. What do you imagine yourself doing if you would have never played football.
2. Do you think the having Dyslexia has made you a better athlete and person?
3. If you would never have had this quote, how would your life differ?

I also choose this picture because it shows that no matter what odds you have against you, if you work hard then you can accomplish your goals.
