LEVEL 2
(information modelling)
Evaluation of the proposed approach, capability and capacity of each supplier, and their supply chain, to deliver the required information, prior to the contract award.
Application of the processes and procedures outlined in certain CPI/BSI documents and
BS/PAS standards ; and

Provision of a clear definition of the employer’s information requirements (EIR) and key decision points.
A BIM execution plan (BEP) shall be developed by the supplier containing: assigned roles, responsibilities and authorities; standards, methods and procedures; and a resourced master information delivery index, aligned with the project programme.
Originators produce definition information in models sourcing information from other models where required by way of reference, federation or direct information exchange.
Provision of a single environment to store shared asset data and information, accessible to all individuals who are required to produce, use and maintain it.
Information models to be developed using a certain combination of enabling tools.
