Nutrition By Johnny Nguyen Today I'm going to be talking about the Food Pyramid. Here is a picture of one. The 5 Groups in the Food Pyramid are: What should you do to "eat healthy"? From my resources, here's what you should do/eat:
Do Daily Exercise and Weight Control
Eat Whole Grain Food at most meals
Plant Oils (Olive, Canola, Soy, Corn, Sunflower, Peanut and other vegeatable oils
Fruits (2-3 times a day)
Nuts, Legumes (1-3 times a day)
Fish, Poultry, Eggs (0-2 Times a day)
Dairy or Calcium supplement (1-2 times a day) To "eat healthy, you also need to make sure your getting the right amount of calories you should get! Go to:http://www.mypyramidtracker.gov/planner/launchPage.aspx

Half Cup of Chopped Vegetables = 1 Serving Fruit 2-4 Servings a day
Banana = 1 Serving Milk, Yogurt, Cheese Group 2-3 Servings a day
Cup of Milk = 1 Serving Meat, Poultry, Fish, Dry Beans, Eggs, Nuts, Group 2-3 Servings a day

It's the tiny slim of Yellow on the Food Pyramid...if you look.... There's oil! It's the tiny, tiny slim of yellow on the Food Pyramid! And a little awesome...maybe...
