• Kinesthetic
Cerebellum, thalamus, and cerebral cortex

Types of Learners
Enhanced Senses
The auditory cortex, because it is not being used for hearing, will take on additional sensory tasks like touch and sight.
1. Phonemically: Using the sounds of a language to read.

The visual cortex in the brain is not being used to process visual information and can learn to process language
Braille is a way for blind people to read.
It is taught to children by associating the words with the actual object.
Impact of Visual Impairment On Learning
Blind children need to be taught spatial skills and how to walk without running into thing (usually with a cane or a service dog)
Blind children take Orientation & Mobility classes where they learn through mostly experience (kinesthetics)
When one or more sense is impaired, other senses are heightened in order to compensate and to try to accumulate information, resulting in very different learning processes.
