Early Years While performing on stage in her home country, Stephanie was scouted. She was invited to audition at the SM Entertainment Starlight Casting System and joined SM on October 2004 at age 15. Her father rejected the idea and wanted his daughter to become involved in law. She then received the permission to leave for South Korea within three weeks of making the decision. In order to debut it took her 3 years and 7 months of training. In 2007, Tiffany graduated from Korea Kent Foreign High School with fellow soon-to-be band-mate and long time friend Jessica. Although being publicized after debut, Stephanie's mother had passed away during training. Pre-debut and Training Debut with Girls' Generation Tiffany has sang themes and OSTs for several dramas. She has also hosted music shows Sonyeon Sonyeo Gayo Baekseo, Champagne, Show! Music Core with band member Yuri (2009-2012) and then with sub-group members Taeyeon and Seohyun (2012-present). As an actress she has made cameos in dramas. In musical theater, she played the role Carmen Diaz in the musical Fame. She has also endorsed SK Telecom 1682 Collect Call, Nexon Mabinogi, Samsung Anycall "Haptic", A-Solution, Biotherm Aquasource 1,2,3, Christian Dior S.A. Dior Snow, Bean Pole, 12plus, and Levi's. TV Presenter, Promotional Model, Entertainer, Rapper, Dancer, Currently Tiffany is performing and has performed with Girls' Generation in South Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, America, and France. Girls' Generation are currently the "The Nation's Singers" and "The Nation's Girl Group". For major awards they have won 88 awards and have been nominated 151 times. For music shows, 78 awards. The Sisa Journal named the group as the most influential entertainers for the years 2011 and 2012, making them the first female idol group in history to make the list.

Jessica and Tiffany Brother Leo Middle School Now going by a stage name, and officially debuting in August 5, 2007, Tiffany serves as a lead vocalist of the 9-piece South Korean girl group, Girls' Generation (more commonly known as SNSD).
