Visit Scotland
Scotland has much to offer, there are places to go and things to see for all ages.

Although Scotland may not be the most exotic place going it has loads to do in every type of weather.
Events taking place in Scotland in the year 2014
There are many events taking place this year here in Scotland.

Some of them being The Commonwealth Games, T in the Park and The Ryder Cup.
Commonwealth Games
This year the Commonwealth Games start on the 23rd of July and end on the 3rd of August.

There will be 6,500 athletes from 70 countries competing in 17 sports over the space of 11 days.




T in the Park
T in the Park is Scotland's biggest music festival, many people come from all over to experience the attractions and views.

It is held in Glenrothes every year and is always a big hit.

Ryder Cup
The Ryder Cup is the bennial professional match-play golf competition between teams from Europe and the United States.
Technology at The
Commonwealth Games
Some things used at the Commonwealth Games:

tanoids
retracable roof


Baton technology
LED Lighting: This is a unique and wonderful way of tracking the baton as it makes its way around different countries.

Technology at the Ryder Cup
The scoring at the Ryder cup:

There is 28 points available, 1 point per match half a point for a halves. 14 points to retain the cup if still held, this will be used by a calculator.
