Thank You!
What is HIV?
HIV stands for Human Immunodeficiency Virus. This is a viral infection that attacks the Immune System of a Human. It obliterates CD-4 cells, which are crucial, because without them, it is near impossible to prevent or fight off disease. The HIV takes advantage of the CD-4 cells when it has attacked and taken them over, as it uses the workings of the cell to multiply, and continue on it's path of destruction. HIV is uncurable, and it leads to AIDS, which stands for Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome. When the CD4 Cell count drops below 200, then HIV turns into AIDS. You can not live for more than 3 or 4 years if you have AIDS. AIDS is the last stage of HIV, and it is the most dangerous and fatal phase ofNobody dies from HIV or AIDS, but from the viruses that take advantage of the weakend immune system. These are called oppurtunistic infections.
