During our project we wanted to see if color could effect your memory. We know that many different teenagers have problems taking test or memorizing what is going to be on that test so by doing this, it helped us to find that if you studied something in a different color it could be a high chance you would remember.

We think color does affect memory, more than black and white. We think that will be the easiest to remember because it stands out. Red also makes you feel and we believe these feelings will help you remember.

In this experiment we learned that color does affect people memories more than black and white. Through the test we learned that when the people studied the study guide then took the test that all of their test were effective. So our hypothesis was right, we inferred that color does affect memory, more than black and white. Our data and hypothesis supports our conclusion.
Topic Category: Color and Memory

Independent- Color
Dependent- How many numbers the person remembered
Controlled- Notes/ test and how many times they see the notes also the color of the notes.

Choose some peers to do the experiment
Write a list of 10 notes in different colors using markers and paper.
Sit the people down and give them each a copy of the list of notes they can ethier decide whether to study the sheet or to just begin the test.
The Notes will be important dates in US History.
For the people who chose to study give them one minute to study.
After the person is done taking the test you should record the times.
