that changes the way the body

prevent
and or relieve
illness symptoms. SIDE EFFECT

of a drug. PSYCHOLOGICAL DEPENDENCE

A strong emotional desire
to continue
using a drug. PHYSICAL DEPENDENCE







A condition in which
someone
develops a tolerance for a
drug
or shows withdrawal
symptoms without it. TOLERANCE

body becomes used to a
drug and needs larger and
larger amounts to produce
