Cyndaquil, Totodile, and Chikorita were the Pokemon that you could choose from to start with in this version. These came out on October 14, 2000
The storyline of this version is more based around the legendary dogs, but mostly Suicune. This came out July 29, 2001.
In this version, you can choose from Mudkip, Torchic, and Treecko to have as your starter Pokemon. These came out March 19, 2003.
In this version, you can catch all of the legendary Third Generation Pokemon, which are Rayquaza, Groudon, and Kyogre. This was released May 1, 2005
Blue was replaced with Leafgreen. These came out September 9, 2004
Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup were the starters to the first Pokemon game made for the DS. These were released April 22, 2007.
Nintendo added the Distortion World into this version which is where the legendary Pokemon is located and is in his "true form". This was released on March 22, 2009.
You could catch a bunch of the Legendary Pokemon in HeartGold and SoulSilver. These were released March 14, 2010.
In this version, the starter Pokemon were Snivy, Oshawott, and Tepig. The day that these games came out was March 6, 2011.
The legendary Pokemon Kyurem was able to be fused with Reshiram or Zekrom. The day that these games were available for but were October 7, 2012
In this version, they added new starter Pokemon, Fennekin, Chespin, and Froakie, and they also added Megaevolutions and Fairy Type Pokemon. These were available to be bought on October 12, 2013.
