What are the key events 1919-39?

What are the key events during the period 1919-39

Learning objective:
All to refresh our knowledge and understanding of Hitler's rise to power
Most will identify and explain a range of factors
Some will be able to explain the most important factor and why as well as make links between factors.

Learning Outcome: to be able to answer a 16 mark question on the period

all of us to C grade (9-10)
most of us to B grade (11-13)
some of us to A/A* Grade (14-16)

Germany 1918-1939

A rough plan
is essential!

The mark scheme is divided into three levels, then the examiner has to decide your mark depending on the level you fall into.

Level 1: Simple or generalised statements of causation, lacking evidence, incorrect facts.
1-5 marks (1 mark per statement)

Level 2: Links the events/causes to the change in relationship. For this level developed arguments are needed.
E.g. Point, Evidence, Explain
7-8 marks for one developed argument
9-10 marks for two developed arguments
11-13 marks for three developed arguments

Level 3: Explains how factors are interlinked or prioritises factors, e.g. order points and explain why, show a difference in factors, real analysis of events

As level 2, plus: 14-16 marks for linking or prioritising factors
