Our Marvelous Moon

What is the Moon?
The Moon is a satellite of Earth. The Moon orbits
around it.
It has large craters on it's surface. It was formed more than 4 billion years ago!
The Moon is the second brightest object in the night sky. It is about 238,000 miles away from Earth.
The Moon takes 28 days to
complete one-cycle around Earth
A Full Moon is when you can see the
Moon clearly lit up.
When we can't see the Moon, we call
it a New Moon.
