Student
A student in her last semester at the university looking for options how to apply for a job. She has not a lot of practical experience as no internships where necessary.

There was no class in which they told you how to apply.
There was no department where students could go to ask about the process how to apply.
There was no department where students could go to ask about companies.
There was no standard process to apply for work.
You had to search on your own to get contacts.
Online portals started where jobs where listed.
Some company's had relations with the university.
It was hard, because not all had practical experience
Companies payed very little.
In a lot of companies they did not explain how to apply for medical insurance.
No help to get the tax papers right.
No preparation and trainings for interviews
They applied via e-mail
Searched in online portals with little information
Asked family
Asked older friends or relatives
Called the company
tried to contact companies where older students went
Started an alumni network
It seems like she was frustrated not to have someone who explained how to apply
It was awkward to go to an interview not know what to say and how to react

There should have been more information about the process how to apply
Why is it so complicated
Why is there no information openly available
Why is there no training for interviews
Nowadays with the Internet, information is there but not everyone has access or knows how to find the information
Access does not have to be the Internet
There could be special trainings / seminars at the university
Every student
