Shell Structures Structure Picture Gallery An igloo is a great example of a shell structure because the igloo is hollow on the inside and solid on the outside. An igloo is a technological structure since it is man-made. A shell structure is a structure that is solid on the outside and hollow on the inside. Here are some examples of shell structures. A turtle shell is another great example of a shell structure because, like the igloo, this structure is
also hollow on the inside and solid on the outside.

A basketball is also an example of a shell structure because it is hollow on the inside and solid on the outside. A basketball is a technological structure because it is a man-made structure. Frame Structures A spider web is an example of a frame structure because the web is made of threads of spider silk fastened together. A spider web is a natural structure because it is made by nature, it is not man-made. The Eiffel Tower is another example of a frame structure because it is made of metal parts fastened together. The Eiffel Tower is a technological structure because it is man-made. A skeleton is also an example of a frame structure because it is made of attached bones. A skeleton is a natural because it is not man-made, it is made by nature. A frame structure is a structure that is made of parts fastened together. Here are some examples of a frame structure.
