Pink Floyd were an English rock band that achieved international acclaim with their progressive music. They were originally formed in 1965.
Barret died in 2006 and Wright in 2008. The band has dissolved.

The Rolling Stones were an English rock band formed in London, 1962. They are still playing today without their main musicians dying. The instruments used were the guitar, piano, vocals, drums, harmonica, and bass.

Led Zeppelin were an English rock band formed in London in 1968. The band consisted of a guitarist, singer, bassist and keyboardist and a drummer. All of the musicians are still alive and well.

Classic Rock was a form of rock music that was composed from the late 1960's to the late 1980's. Many important things also happened in this time period as well, such as Brazil officially changed it's capital from Rio de Janeiro to Brazillia. Lasers were invented as well as Mt. Saint Helen erupting.
