Intake Call
Receptionist records some basic information about the potential client into the database. This will require creating a new contact if one does not already exist.
Name
Phone Number
Address
Basic reason for calling
The receptionist then determines the proper associate to field the type of call.
Associate Attorney
The associate attorney at this point will then gather a more detailed recounting of what happened to the potential client and why they are calling. This information can be found in the database under the "Intake Summary." The associate then makes a determination of declining the potential client or moving forward by sending it to a partner for final review.
Partner
In this phase, the partner will review all of the information collected prior from all parties as well as gather additional information by way of client interviews. The case will either be opened, or declined at this point. Much of this information is often disseminated by way of dictation and after being transcribed can be found in the "Attorney Notes" tab under the client's name in the database.
Associate
At this point the associate will work hand in hand with assigned staff members and the overseeing partner as the case evolves and develops moving forward. All documents, emails, notes, and meetings will be recorded in the database under the "Events" tab.
Staff
At this point, the assigned staff will work hand in hand with the associate(s) involved and the overseeing partner as the case evolves and develops moving forward. All documents, records, emails, and meetings will then be recorded in the "Events" tab in the database.
