BEOWULF
King Hrothgar of Denmark has built a great mead-hall,Heorot, where his warriors can gather to drink.But a terrible monster,Grendel,frightens the Danes every night,killing them and defeating their efforts to fight back.Grendel's menace continues for twelve years,till Beowulf, a young warrior at the court of Hygelac,the King of the Geats,decides to sail to Denmark with small company of men, determined to defeat Grendel.
