Introduction to Leadership
Why are we here?
What will you get out of it?
What is Spizzerinctum?
The will or determination to succeed.
What is Leadership?
What is your personal definition of leadership?
Where do you stand?
Leadership is telling people what to do?
Spizzerinctum says: Leadership does not mean getting others to do their jobs. It means influencing others to do their best, then the job will be done right.
In order to be an effective leader, you must inspire others to go after their passions and dreams.
Spizzerinctum says: Leadership is the art of inspiring others to pursue their dreams through the obstacles and barriers they face.
Spizzerinctum says: Leadership is inspiring and helping others to work towards a common goal.
Leadership is being able to complete a group project by yourself without including the group.
Leadership and Relationships
Your LEADERSHIP is your INFLUENCE
Your INFLUENCE is expressed by your BEHAVIORS
Your BEHAVIORS determine your RELATIONSHIPS with others
Your RELATIONSHIPS with others determine your LEADERSHIP SUCCESS/FAILURE
LEADERSHIP IS ALL ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS!
Behaviors of Successful Leaders...
You must realize that your SPIZZERINCTUM,
your "will to succeed" is really a "divine spark" planted in mankind and only if you choose to light your "divine spark" can you become and remain an effective leader
What do you think?
Before deciding that some people don' t have it, answer the question, "Have they ever been in a position where they could show it?"
Criticism, like rain, should be gentle enough to nourish one's growth without destroying one's roots.
The Leadership Molecule
Leadership requires faith that the people in your molecule will try to do their best. If some of them don't seem to be trying hard enough, the smartest thing to do is to find out the reasons and then try to help them overcome whatever it is that's preventing them from doing their best.
Reasons why leaders fail...
What are some destructive behaviors of a leader?
Insensitivity to others: abrasive, intimidating, bullying style
Over-managing; unable to delegate or build a team
Don't forget....

Every failure is a dress rehearsal for success.
What can you do?
Why are we here?
