1.) Operate computers only with permission from the teacher.
2.) Check your station immediately when you arrive, and tell the teacher if there is anything wrong before class begins.
3.) Students will log out of the computer ONLY. Do not shut down the computer.
4.) Always sit in your assigned station.
5.) Find the proper adjustment for your chair before class begins, and leave it there.
6.) Do not engage in any type of horseplay in the lab or classroom.
7.) Be ready to start when the tardy bell rings.
8.) Continue working until the bell rings. The teacher dismisses, not the bell.
9.) Follow the directions the first time given.
10.) Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself. Never touch anyone else's keyboard, mouse or monitor.
11.) Do not unplug anything from the computers or outlets.
12.) CD's, external drives, or other technology devices are not allowed in the lab unless approved by the teacher.
13.) Do not change the monitor controls or any other settings without permission.
14.) NO food, drinks, gum, candy, sunflower seeds, make-up, hair products, fingernail polish, deodorant, perfume/body spray, etc in the computer lab.
15.) During teaching time, testing, and announcements there will be NO TALKING and NO WALKING.
16.) Book bags, notebooks, and all other books must be left in the assigned storage area.
17.) It is the student's responsibility to obtain make-up work and turn it in.
18.) Loud talking , name calling, or disrespect for students or teachers is not allowed in the classroom. Treat others as you would like to be treated.
19.) DO NOT SHARE YOUR PASSWORD OR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER.
20.) Save your work every 5-10 minutes.
21.) Do not attempt to make any repair to your computer. Report all problems to your teacher immediately.
22.) At the end of the period, leave your station ready for the next person - trash thrown away, books put away, logged out of the network, and chair pushed under the desk.
23.) You are responsible for the computer equipment and will be held accountable for it. Any mistreatment or vandalism of any computer will be dealt with accordingly. The incident will be reported to parents and to the principal.
