Orange Apple Banana Carrots Strawberry Healthy Food
&
Unhealthy Food ~What are the healthy effects of eating fruits &vegetables O the high amount of vitamin C in the strawberries is instrumental in reducing those cancers plus non-hormone-dependent cancer and stomach cancer.Strawberries also contain anthocyanins, kaempferol and quercetin. Scientists agree that these flavinoids inhibit colon cancer cells, prostate cancer and cancer of the lung, mouth, tongue and colon that comes from exposure to chemicals.
succulents red marvels contain vitamin C that not only helps prevent cancer; it also reduces the potential of cardiovascular disease. Higher amounts of vitamin C in the diet help stop inflammation and lowers the risk for angina.
Bone Protection

French researchers found that a flavonoid called phloridzin that is found only in apples may protect post-menopausal women from osteoporosis and may also increase bone density. Boron, another ingredient in apples, also strengthens bones. Asthma Help One recent study shows that children with asthma who drank apple juice on a daily basis suffered from less wheezing than children who drank apple juice only once per month. Another study showed that children born to women who eat a lot of apples during pregnancy have lower rates of asthma than children whose mothers ate few apples.
Alzheimer's Prevention A study on mice at Cornell University found that the quercetin in apples may protect brain cells from the kind of free radical damage that may lead to Alzheimer's disease.
Lower Cholesterol
The pectin in apples lowers LDL ("bad") cholesterol. People who eat two apples per day may lower their cholesterol by as much as 16 percent. Lung Cancer Prevention According to a study of 10,000 people, those who ate the most apples had a 50 percent lower risk of developing lung cancer. Researchers believe this is due to the high levels of the flavonoids quercetin and naringin in apples.
With numerous studies pointing to a correlation between animal consumption and a variety of diseases, including cancers, heart diseases, and the bovine disorders, many have adopted a form of vegetarianism, ranging from less meat to total consumption of plant food.

Vegetarian diets are bulkier than those containing animal products. Because they are relatively high in carbohydrates and fiber, overeating, obesity, and constipation are generally not seen in vegans, but do appear within other groups of vegetarians that include meats and dairy in their diets. Because it can take up to five days for meat to be digested, putrification is common and is the prime source of growth of undesirable bacteria, which are the forerunners to disease. A plant-based diet is eliminated from the body within a 24-hour period, thereby preventing any potential accumulation.

Studies have shown that animal protein increases blood cholesterol levels, while plant protein reduces it. It is estimated that for every 100 mg. of cholesterol consumed per 1000 calories, there is an increase of blood cholesterol of 12 mg/dl. Oxidized forms of cholesterol in meats, particularly, are more damaging to arteries than the cholesterol itself. Cholesterol can be oxidized simply by exposing the fat to high temperatures, light, storage, oxygen, and a range of such pro-oxidizing agents as additives.

Additives can hide the true nature of food. For instance, in a purchased meat pie, the following are used: polyphosphates (E450) to emulsify fat and incorporate water, 128 (Red 2G) to color the fat so that it looks like meat, a flavor enhancer 621(MSG) so that the food has an addictive chicken-like flavor and so the senses will not detect all the fat, BHA and BHT to prevent the food from The effects of eating meat changing color or going rancid, E320 and E321 also to make sure that the excessive quantities of fat do not go rancid. With further additions of salt and a little meat surrounded by a pastry of white flour and lard, a product is born, containing all of the additives and saturated fat that the government advises to eat in moderation.

Bone loss is a concern for many today. Science has difficulty in accepting the bottom line of many studies that indicate bone loss is the direct result of too much protein in the diet and not solely from a lack of calcium. The loss of calcium from the system is directly proportional to the amount of protein that is consumed. Those countries noted for their high protein consumption have the worst rate of osteoporosis in the world, while the disease is almost unheard of in the poorer nations that cannot afford meat or drink milk.

There is also a relationship between colon cancer and high protein diets. In fact, the former science advisor to the American Institute for Cancer Research gave up eating meat when the mounting evidence could no longer be ignored. T. Colin Campbell stated that there is "a strong correlation between dietary protein intake and cancers of the colon, breast, prostate, and pancreas."

"The beef industry has contributed to more American deaths than all the wars of this century, all the natural disasters, and all the automobile accidents combined," says Dr. Neal Barnard, President of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. Unhealthy eating Healthy eating Notice
If you only eat little meat or other unhealthy food it won't affect your body as much, so you still can eat but I suggest you to eat more fruits and vegetables than the other unhealthy food. Breast Cancer Prevention A Cornell University study found that rats who ate one apple per day reduced their risk of breast cancer by 17 percent. Rats fed three apples per day reduced their risk by 39 percent and those fed six apples per day reduced their risk by 44 percent.
Colon Cancer Prevention One study found that rats fed an extract from apple skins had a 43 percent lower risk of colon cancer. Other research shows that the pectin in apples reduces the risk of colon cancer and helps maintain a healthy digestive tract.
Liver Cancer Prevention Research found that rats fed an extract from apple skins had a 57 percent lower risk of liver cancer. Diabetes Management The pectin in apples supplies galacturonic acid to the body which lowers the body's need for insulin and may help in the management of diabetes.
Being rich in calcium, oranges have been associated with protection and maintenance of the health of bones.
Beta-carotene, a nutrient present in oranges, is a very powerful antioxidant that protects our cells from damage.
Consumption of oranges has been found to result in lesser outpouring of mucus secretions from the nose.
It is said that oranges are beneficial in maintaining the dental health of an individual.
Oranges have been associated with keeping blood pressure under check, mainly owing to the presence of magnesium.
Oranges, being rich in Vitamins B6, help support the production of hemoglobin in the body.
Regular consumption of orange juice can significantly increase HDL levels and improve the LDL-HDL ratio of a person.
The folic acid present in oranges helps in proper brain development.
The high content of potassium in oranges helps maintain electrolyte balance in the cells and also aids the maintenance of a healthy cardiovascular system.
Blueberry Fast food Mc Donald KFC
Fat
A small pack of McDonald’s French fries contains about 13 grams of fat, with at least 2.5 of the amount being saturated fat. It contains about 370 calories, 47% of which is fat-based which is a bad ratio given that the American Heart Association recommends a diet where the fat contains less than 20% of the total calories.

Carbohydrates
The 117 gram serving of French fries from McDonalds has about 45 grams of carbohydrates, with a limited amount of carbohydrates. The said figure constitutes about 20% of a person’s daily requirement for carbs, but for those who are on a low fat diet, then eating French fries from McDonald’s is certainly a no-no. Likewise, potatoes are considered sources of high gylcemic carb meaning it can result to higher levels of insulin which in turn result to gain in weight. Thus those who are cautious of gaining weight should eat McDonald’s French fries in moderation.

Sodium
McDonald’s French fries is also rich in sodium. In a small serving of French fries it is estimated that there is about 266 mg of sodium. The American Heart Association notes that the daily requirement of sodium is about 2,000 mg. While the 266 milligram content of French fries is still far from the said amount, the sodium content will surely go up if a person sprinkles more table salt on a French fries.

french fries KFC chicken are fed the cheapest feed available which is likely to contain toxic grain that has failed inspection for human consumption and can also contain fillers such as sawdust, newspaper, and cardboard. They’re also typically fed antibiotics on a regular basis to compensate for the unhealthy conditions they’re forced to live in and are given hormones to accelerate their growth. Whenever you eat food that’s derived from an animal, you’re also eating what the animal ate, and this includes the pesticides, antibiotics, hormones, sawdust, newspaper and cardboard that they were fed.
Vegetable Fruit Tomato Broccoli A large consumption of tomato can help improve skin texture and color.
Tomato is a good blood purifier.
Tomato helps in cases of congestion of the liver (protects the liver from cirrhosis) as well as for dissolving gallstones.
Tomato is a natural antiseptic therefore it can help protect against infectionNicotinic acid in tomatoes can help to reduce blood cholesterol, thus helps prevent heart diseases.
Vitamin K in tomatoes helps to prevent hemorrhages.
Tomato contain lycopene (the red pigment in tomato), this pigment is a powerful antioxidant that can also fight cancer cells. Carrot can enhance the quality of breast milk.
Carrot can improve the appearance of the skin, hair and nails.
When taken daily it can lower cholesterol and blood pressure.
Raw contain beta-carotene, a strong antioxidant that can prevent cancer.
Carrot juice when taken everyday prevent bodily infections and is claimed to be valuable for the adrenal glands (the small endocrine glands situated above the kidneys).
Carrot can help improve eyesight.
Carrot can help increase menstrual flow.
Carrots can regulate blood sugar.
Carrot can promote colon health, because carrot is rich in fiber.
Carrot is also helpful in the following cases : Obesity, Poisoning of the blood, Gum disease, Insomnia, Inflamed Kidneys, Liver, Gallbladder, Alzheimer's disease, Colitis, Ulcer Painful urination Broccoli provides a high amount of vitamin C, which aids iron absorption in the body, prevents the development of cataracts, and also eases the symptoms of the common cold. The folic acid in broccoli helps women sustain normal tissue growth and is often used as a supplement when taking birth control pills and during pregnancies.
The potassium in broccoli aids those battling high blood pressure, while a large amount of calcium helps combat osteoporosis.
The vegetable is also fiber-rich, which enhances the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, as well as aims to reduce blood cholesterol levels.
In recent years, broccoli has made the headlines regarding three components found in the vegetable. For instance, indole-3-carbinol has captured the attention of those looking to prevent hormone-related cancers, such as breast- and prostate cancer.
I3C promotes "good" hormones, while working against destructive ones. The sulforaphane in broccoli also helps to increase the level of enzymes that block cancer, while the beta-carotene in broccoli transforms into vitamin A within the body, providing an effective antioxidant that destroys free radicals (responsible for weakening the defense of cells). Helps Infection-Another health benefit of blueberries is their ability to prevent urinary tract infections and cure them as well. Blueberries have been proven time and time again to be an excellent food source for urinary traction infection prevention and cure due to their high level of antioxidants

Improves eyesight – Blueberries contain extremely high vitamin A which is a vital nutrient for improving vision, it is also shown to help dry and tried eyes

Slow aging process- Blueberries high antioxidant concentration has also been proven to help slow down the bodies normal aging process but helping to prevent age-related illnesses including arthritis, diabetes, cancer, and heart disease. Banana contain tryptophan, a type of protein that the body converts into serotonin. Serotonin is a hormone that is known to make you feel happy and improve your mood.
Banana is a rich source of iron, thus it is helpful in cases of anemia.
Banana is good a good source of potassium. If you are taking diuretics take 2 bananas a day to prevent the depletion of potassium in the body.
The skin of the banana is said to help remove warts(cover the warts with the inner skin of banana).
Banana is good for people who have high blood pressure because it is low in salt.
After I've given you some facts about healthy and unhealthy eating. Candy Reduces Nutrient Intake
If you are filling up on candy, you leave little room for nutrient-dense foods that support your health. Candy contains no vitamins and very small, if any, amounts of minerals, which means you are satisfying hunger but doing nothing to meet your daily nutrient intake requirements. Furthermore, high sugar intake actually robs you of much needed nutrients, such as calcium, because your body must use them to digest sugar. This contributes to the development of nutrient deficiencies, including iron, vitamins A and C, and calcium, which results in a variety of health problems, including anemia and a lowered immunity.

Tooth Decay
Eating too much candy leads to the development of cavities. Sugar plays a large role in this process because the bacteria that causes cavities feeds on sugar. The more sugary candy you eat, the more this harmful bacteria is able to multiply and damage your teeth. Evolving Wellness notes that eating a lot of candy also plays a role in bleeding gums and losing teeth because sugar allows bacteria to damage your teeth and surrounding gums, leading to corrosion and deterioration. Caramel, taffy and other chewy candies stick to teeth, eroding the enamel and leading to decay.

Increases the Risk of Disease
High-fat, high-calorie and high-sugar diets are responsible for a whole host of health conditions. Large amounts of sugar contributes to insulin resistance, which can cause diabetes. Sugar leaches calcium from your bones, making osteoporosis a worry. Eating a lot of fat increases your risk of heart disease, obesity and depression. Poor diets lower the effectiveness of your immune system, making it easier for your body to succumb to a virus. Many of these conditions play a role in the development of others. For example, being overweight increases your risk of heart disease and diabetes. Antioxidants
The bright red color of strawberries is due to their high concentration of antioxidants. Antioxidants fight free radical and rid the blood of harmful toxins. Free radicals damage cells and cause most types of cancer. Their high antioxidant compacity make them an ideal food for fighting cancer.

Anti-Aging Properties
The USDA human nutrition center on aging found that strawberries help slow the decline of age-related loss of cognitive and motor skills. The nutrients in strawberries nourish brain cells increasing brain health and function.

Fighting Diseases
The antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals of strawberries combine to form a powerful disease fighting mixture. Supplementing strawberries into your diet is recommended for rheumatism, gout, and catarhh. They are also recommended for health problems such as high blood pressure, constipation, and the flu.

Eating Strawberries Even Removes Tartar
Strawberries can be used to remove tartar in two ways. You can eat them, which is what most people will do, or you can cut them in half and rub them across your teeth. The acid in strawberries is extremely effective at dissolving the tartar. Aside from removing the tartar on your teeth, the acids dramatically improve gum health

aging process points:
1.Anti-oxidant:
Tomatoes contain a lot of vitamins A and C, mostly because of beta-carotene, and these vitamins act as an anti-oxidant, working to neutralize dangerous free radicals in the blood stream. These dangerous free radicals can cause cell damage. And keep in mind, the more red the tomato, the more beta-carotene it contains. Also, remember that cooking destroys much of vitamin C, so stick with raw tomatoes for these benefits.
2.Diabetes:
Tomatoes also have plenty of the mineral chromium, which helps diabetics to keep their blood sugar level under control.
3.Smoking:
No, tomatoes can’t help you stop smoking, but what they can do is to help reduce the damage smoking does to your body. Tomatoes contain chlorogenic acid and coumaric acid, which help to fight against some of the carcinogens brought about by cigarette smoke.
4.Vision:
Because of all that vitamin A, tomatoes are also an excellent food to help improve your vision. This also means tomatoes can help your eyes be better about night blindness.
5.Heart troubles: Due to potassium and vitamin B, tomatoes help to lower blood pressure and to lower high cholesterol levels. This, in turn, could help prevent strokes, heart attack and other potentially life-threatening heart problems.
6.Skin care:
Because of high amounts of lycopene, a substance found in many of the more expensive over-the-counter facial cleansers, tomatoes are great for skin care. The best way to use tomatoes for skin care is to peel a bunch of them, eight to twelve, then lay back and place the tomato skins on your face (or other skin areas). Make sure the inside of the tomato skins are against your skin, and let this sit for at least 10 minutes. Then wash off. You’re face will be cleaner and more shiny, though it also might be a little red from the tomatoes. Don’t worry, that red on your face will wear away.
7.Hair:
Tomatoes are good for keeping your hair strong and shiny, and its also good for your eyes, teeth, skin and bones.
8.Cancer:
Various studies have shown that because of all that lycopene in tomatoes, the red fruit helps to lessen the chances of prostate cancer in men, and also reduces the chance of stomach cancer and colorectal cancer. Lycopene is considered somewhat of a natural miracle anti-oxidant that may help to stop the growth of cancer cells. And, interestingly enough, cooked tomatoes produce more lycopene than do raw tomatoes, so enjoy that tomato soup!
9.Bones:
Tomatoes have a fair amount of vitamin K and calcium, both of which help to strengthen and possibly repair in minor ways bones and bone tissue.
10.Kidney stones and gallstones:
Eating tomatoes without the seeds has been shown in some studies to lessen the risk of gallstones and kidney stones.

High cholesterol is a major factor for heart disease. Since regular consumption of carrots reduces cholesterol level it is good to prevent heart related problems. A group of Swedish scientists discovered that root vegetables can reduce the chances of having a heart attack. A study conducted at the Mario Negri Institute of Pharmacological Research in Italy found that those who ate more carrots had one third the risk of heart attack as compared with those who ate fewer carrots.
Prevent cancer: Beta-carotene consumption has been linked to reduced risk of several cancers, notably lung cancer. British researchers discovered that increasing beta-carotene consumption from 1.7 to 2.7 milligrams a day reduced lung cancer risk more than 40 percent. The average carrot contains about three milligrams of Beta-carotene. In a study, researchers found that eating fiber rich carrots reduce the risk of colon cancer by as much as 24 percent. Another study shows that women who ate raw carrots were five to eight times less likely to develop breast cancer than women who did not eat carrots.
Macular degeneration: This is a common eye disease of elderly. It impairs the macula. Researches found that people who ate the most Beta-carotene had a forty percent lower risk of macular degeneration compared with those who consumed the least.
Improves eyesight: Deficiency of vitamin A can cause some difficulty seeing in dim light. Since carrot is rich in vitamin A it is good for improving eyesight.
Stroke: A carrot a day reduces stroke risk by 68 percent. Many studies have strengthened the “carrot effect” on brain. Studies conducted on stroke patients revealed that those with highest levels of Beta carotene have the best survival rate.
Diabetes: Carrot is good for blood sugar regulation because of the presence of carotenoids in carrot. Carotenoids inversely affect insulin resistance and thus lower blood sugar.

constipation and digestion
cancer Constipation & Digestion: While roughage (fiber) in Blue Berries keep away constipation (Of course, a single piece alone will not do. You need to eat a big handful of them), the vitamins, sodium, copper, fructose and acids improve digestion.

Cancer: Blue Berries can prove to be bliss for the cancer patients, for they contain certain compounds like Pterostilbene (excellent remedy for colon and liver cancer) and Ellagic Acid which, in harmony with Anthocyanin and other anti oxidants like vitamin-C and copper, can do miracles to prevent and cure cancer. Laboratory studies published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry show that phenolic compounds in blueberries can inhibit colon cancer cell proliferation and induce apoptosis (programmed cell death). A significant 34% reduction in ovarian cancer risk was also seen in women with the highest intake of the flavone luteolin (found in citrus).
Brain Health: The anthocyanin, the selenium, the vitamins A, B-complex, C and E, the zinc, sodium, potassium, copper, magnesium, phosphorus, manganese etc., among others, can prevent and heal neurotic disorders by preventing degeneration and death of neurons, brain-cells and also by restoring health of the central nervous system. It is hard to believe that these berries can also cure serious problems like Alzheimer disease to a great extent. They even heal damaged brain cells and neuron tissues and keep your memory sharp for a long-long time. Researchers found that diets rich in blueberries significantly improved both the learning capacity and motor skills of aging animals, making them mentally equivalent to much younger ones.

Heart Disease: The high fiber content, those brilliant anti oxidants and the ability to dissolve the ad cholesterol?make the Blue Berry an ideal dietary supplement to cure many heart diseases. It also strengthens the cardiac muscles. In this study, published in the Journal of Agriculture and Food Chemistry, researchers found that a moderate drink (about 4 ounces) of white wine contained .47 mmol of free radical absorbing antioxidants, red wine provided 2.04 mmol, and a wine made from highbush blueberries delivered 2.42 mmol of these protective plant compounds.
preserve vision: Blueberry extract, high in compounds called anthocyanosides, has been found in clinical studies to slow down visual loss. They can prevent or delay all age related ocular problems like macular degeneration, cataract, myopia and hypermetropia, dryness and infections, particularly those pertaining to retina, due to their anti-oxidant properties. Blue Berries contain a special group of anti oxidants called Carotenoids (lutein, zeaxanthin etc.), Flavonoids (like rutin, resveritrol, quercetin etc.), in addition to others such as vitamin C, vitamin E and vitamin A, selenium, zinc and phosphorus, which are very beneficial and essential for the ocular health. Data reported in a study published in the Archives of Ophthalmology indicates that eating 3 or more servings of fruit per day may lower your risk of age-related macular degeneration (ARMD), the primary cause of vision loss in older adults, by 36%, compared to persons who consume less than 1.5 servings of fruit daily.

Points: other than eating healthy another way to be health is to exercise.
My conclusion is fruits and vegetables can make you live longer and fast food/ junk food can make you die faster, so which one do you choose? Please make wise decison Points:
bone protection
lung cancer prevention
asthma help
alzheimer's prevention
lowwer cholestrol
breat cancer prevention
colon cancer prevention
diabetes management Reducing Depression
Bananas contain tryptophan, an aminoacid that can be converted to serotonin, leading to improved mood
Anemia
Bananas are relatively high in iron, which helps the body's hemoglobin function
Constipation and Diarrhea
Due to their content in fiber, they help restore a normal bowel function. In addition, diarrhea usually depletes your body of important electrolytes (of which the most important is potassium, contained in high amounts in bananas). They also contain pectin, a soluble fiber (hydrocolloid) that can help normalize movement through the digestive tract.
Eyesight Protection
Research published in the Archives of Ophthalmology has proven that adults consuming at least 3 servings of fruit per day have a reduced risk (by 36%) of developing age-related macular degeneration (ARMD), the primary cause of vision loss in older adults, compared to persons who consume less than 1.5 servings of fruit daily.
Healthy Bones
Bananas are an exceptionally rich source of fructooligosaccharide, a compound that nourishes probiotic (friendly) bacteria in the colon. These beneficial bacteria produce enzymes that increase our digestive ability and protect us from unhealthy bacteria infections. Thanks to fructooligosaccharides, probiotic bacteria can increase both in number and functionality, increasing our body's ability to absorb calcium.
In addition, green bananas contain indigestible short chain fatty acids (SCFAs) that are very nutrient to the cells that make up the mucosa of the stomach. These cells, when healthy, absorb calcium much more efficiently
Healthy Kidney
About 190,000 cases of kidney cancer are diagnosed each year.
Research published in the International Journal of Cancer has shown that daily consumption of whole fruits and vegetables, especially bananas, is highly protective to kidney health. The results show that, over a long timeframe (13.4 years), women eating more than 2.5 servings of fruits and vegetable per day cut their risk of kidney cancer by 40%. Among the fruits, bananas were especially protective. Women eating bananas four to six times a week halved their risk of developing the disease compared to those who did not eat this fruit. The conclusion of the study is that frequent consumption of fruits and vegetables, especially bananas, cabbage and root vegetables, may reduce risk of kidney cancer. This is because bananas and many root vegetables contain especially high amounts of antioxidant phenolic compounds, while cabbage is rich in sulfur, necessary for effective detoxification of potential carcinogens.
Blood Pressure
Bananas are extremely high in potassium (about 4673mg), yet very low in sodium (1mg), thus having a perfect ratio for preventing high blood pressure. So much so, the US Food and Drug Administration has just allowed the banana industry to make official claims for the fruit's ability to reduce the risk of blood pressure and stroke.
Heartburn
Bananas have a natural antacid effect in the body, so if you suffer from heartburn, try eating a banana for soothing relief.
Morning Sickness
Snacking on bananas between meals helps to keep blood-sugar levels up and avoid morning sickness.
Smoking
Bananas can also help people trying to give up smoking. They contain vitamins B6 and B12 they contain, as well as potassium and magnesium: these substances help the body recover from the effects of nicotine withdrawal.
Ulcers
This is the only raw fruit that can be eaten without distress in over-chronicle cases. It also helps reduce acidity and reduces irritation. Bananas stimulate the cells on the internal stomach lining to produce a thicker mucus (which protects against acid). Additionally, bananas contain protease inhibitors that help eliminate bacteria in the stomach that have been pinpointed as a primary cause of ulcers.
Nerves
Bananas are high in B vitamins that have been shows to improve nerve function
Mosquito Bites
Many people report that rubbing the inside of a banana peel on a mosquito bite is very effective in reducing itching and swelling
Stress Relief
Bananas are high in potassium, which helps normalize the hearthbeat and regulate the body's water balance. During periods of high stress, our body's potassium levels tend to be rapidly depleted: eating bananas is a healthy way to rebalance them without using drugs
Stroke Risk
According to a study in The New England Journal of Medicine, eating bananas as part of a regular diet can reduce the risk of death by strokes by as much as 40% Points:
reduce depression
anemia
constipation and diarrhea
eyesight protection
healthy bones
healthy kidney
blood pressure
heartburn
morning sickness
smoking
ulcers
nerves
misquito bites
