Saturation
The ultimate criterion for sample size where the general rule is that when building theory, data should be gathered until each category is completely satiated or satisfied.
The question a researcher asks themselves is "Does adding more participants add more valuable information?" (Harley et al, 2009)
Used to develop a theoretical explanation of human behavior grounded in data collected from those exhibiting that behavior (Harley et al, 2009)
