A meme is an idea, behavior or style that spreads from person to person within a culture.

British scientist Richard Dawkins coined the word meme in his 1976. He wanted a word like ‘gene’ that conveyed the way in which ideas and behavior spread within society.
Memes are born, grow/spread and sometimes die.

Sometimes they “go viral”.

go viral means : spreads too quicly and widley.

Remix and Mashup
Memes can be remixed or mashedup.
Remix: change an old meme to create a new one.

masheup: combine to memes to create a new one.
How powerful are memes ?
- promote/advertise:product,country.

- Tourism/fame for someone.

- Introduce certain culture.

is the idea of one foreign culture ( traditions, style of: behaving, dressing, living and treating others, standard morals) taking over other local cultures.

One culture for one world!

A Hoax is a deliberately fabricated falsehood made to masquerade as truth.

While a prank is generally something small, silly and just for fun, hoaxes are usually bigger and more complex.

Often, someone makes money or causes serious problems with a hoax

is someone who pretends to be someone they're not,online false identities.
