I went the Jeffreys Bay and its a cool beach it is a town located in the Eastern Cape province of south africa. The town is situated just off the N2 highway, and about an hour's drive southwest of Port Elizabeth. And its one of the five most famous surfing destinations. Optimal size is considered to be from about 4 to 10 feet (Hawaiian scale), or about 8 to 20 feet wave faces. The most consistent waves occur between may to mid september, also often coinciding with offshore winds although good waves can occasionally occur at other times of the year.
It is 15km of some of south Africa's widest, most beautiful beaches. Hiking the area is an ideal base from which to explore marine ecosystems. 12 to 23m deep reefs with 5-15 visibility. Over 600 shells covering species from all over the world. A picturesque spot on the lagoon at the confluence of the Seekoei and Swart Rivers, the breeding ground of the one of the country's largest swan colonies. One of the finest displays of wild flowers in South Africa with picnic spots, walks, mountains bike trails and a circular route for cars. The river mouth features a magnificent stretch of beach. Inland , alongside the river, is home to local floral and birdlife.
