Most outstanding Sales Performance for Consultant led sales

Awarded to: Paul Cochrane (WA Region)

Paul commenced work at Bechtel late 2012. Paul has worked diligently in improving UXC’s coverage at Bechtel. Paul’s initial work was for a short period, however with extensions and additional work Paul has been contracted to work up to 2015 and is worth $928K in total.

Paul is currently working to further extend our scope in Bechtel. During this period Paul also received an award from Bechtel for performance ahead of other employees and contractors.
The
Solution Excellence Award
recognizes significant individual or team contribution to the development of our capability to deliver best of breed services to the market and other UXC Business Units. It rewards breakthrough insight, business and commercial acumen, and innovation in positioning new or improved services to support existing or emerging demand.

Awarded to: Michael Billimoria (Vic Region)

In his Practice Lead role, Michael further contributes to solution outcome excellence by facilitating the sharing of solutions and ITSM projects in our ITSM Community Of Practice webinars, co-ordinating IP sharing on Sharepoint and initiating service innovations within the ITSM practice, such as the re-introduction of ITSM simulations into our service portfolio. Michael also initiated a cross practice white paper competition for our consultants across all practices.

Michael also was instrumental in framing the approach and structure behind the Enterprise Release Model developed for Post.
This involved dealing with a disparate stakeholder group,  in an issue that had hitherto eluded them in terms of a consensus solution. Michael led the team that were able to bring the model to life in a simple yet comprehensive way and to present it to them, such that  they were empowered to attempt the implementation themselves. A great outcome for the client

The
Customer Outcome Excellence Award
acknowledges the importance of our customer. It recognizes outstanding performance by an individual or team whose actions and behaviors result in exceptional value delivered to a customer.

Dually awarded to: Richelle Manalo and Graham Smith (NSW Region)

All too often we award the effort that results in client engagement success. In many instances there are efforts which result in the best possible outcome being achieved.

“Dear Nick,

A short note to thank you for the consultancy services provided by Graham and Richelle to Optus within my Field team. Graham started with my team back in about October last year and was charged with leading a transformation program for my team which included a substantial reduction in Head Count. Graham challenged the norm and stuck by his guns, and was true to his belief in the solutions he offered up. To his credit and his unwavering belief, we are now about to move to our new structure and in the process deliver on the head count targets set for us by the business.

Graham demonstrated great leadership in what is often a tough environment as we inevitably all challenged the solutions he offered. His personal guidance to me, and dare I say mentoring of me through the change, was also greatly appreciated.

Great job Graham – thank you.

On Richelle, she also provided high quality product and while she wasn’t the lead role in my transition, played a key function documenting our processes and providing technical support as we moved to our new structure; a real pleasure to work with. Richelle stays on with us for a few more weeks.

I have really appreciated the capability your staff have brought to my team - thank you.”

Best regards,
Steve MinahanHead of Field | Fixed and Satellite Services

This month’s winner: Tegan Hawkins
(ACT)

Tegan is an integral member of the ACT business engine, diligently looking after recruiting in support of opportunities, but also looking after further P&C processes in ACT.

She takes ownership, proactively communicates and extends support to others within the organization, always supporting the team in a fun and professional manner.

As an example, Tegan was recently instrumental in a recruitment process that required over 60 consultants to be identified for a number of responses while at the same time coordinating many of the ACT Region's other priorities.
