The Female Reproductive System: The function is to enable sperm to enter the body and to protect the internal genital organs from infection. It produces the female egg cells, and transports the ova to the site of fertilization. Main Parts:
Awoman is born with all of her eggs when she is born, but later on only the mature ones are left. Ovaries
Fallopian Tubes

* treatment: antifungal medicines (in most cases) STDs: Sexually transmittted Disease. There are two types, bacterial, and viral. Bacterial STDs can be cured. Common examples of bacterial STDs are Chlymidia, gonorrhea, and syphillis. Common viral STDs are HIV/AIDS, Hepatitus B, Genital Herpes, and HPV
*treatment: antibiotics (only for bacterial.) How to keep healthy: 1. Dont smoke! It can damage your ovaries (and everything else for that matter:)
2. Go to the doctor regularly
3. Drink plenty of water. 4. Practice good habits while on your menstrual cycle. THE FEMALE
REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM The female reproductive system works
side by side with the urinary system.
1. The ovaries never produce new eggs after a female is born. 2. A baby girl is born with 1 to 2 million eggs! 3. The female egg is the largest cell in the human body. 4. The vagina is lined with a mucous membrane that works as an cleaner, and protects the body from infection. 5. One egg is released each month from the ovaries, and if it is not fertilized, it is released from the body during the womans menstrual cycle. How the system works: The egg is released from the ovaries and taken down the fallopian tubes, where it will be fertilized. If not fertilized, it is removed from the body during the woman's menstrual cycle. If fertilized, the baby will develop in the uterus, and be born after 9 months. 5.PRACTICE ABSTENCE!!!
