Leonard Bernstein
With all the great's of the 20th century, Leonard Bernstein falls in to place. He was born on August 18, 1918 in Lawrence Mass. He died on October 14, 1990 in New York City. One instrument used in his pieces was the piano.
Louis Armstrong
Louis Armstrong was born on August 4, 1901 in New Orleans,Louisiana. He died on July 6, 1971 in Corona, NY. One of the most famous instruments played was the trumpet.

Some interesting factual information during the 1900-1930's is the Boxer Rebellion started in China, Queen Victoria dies, and Bloody Sunday during the Russian revolution. One important person born in 1900 was Aaron Copland.Aaron Copland made his fame all throughout his music career.
