who is poseidon
In greek mythology Poseidon was the god of sea,earthquakes and also horses. When the world was split up into 3 parts Zeus his brother was received the sky, Hades his other brother git the underworld, as Poseidon ruler of the sea. these three came from Cronus and rhea. Poseidon was known as the god who created new islands, also he offered calm seas for humans to travel. but when he was offended or ignored he would stomp the ground with his trident and create earthquakes and bad storms. when men travel, when men traveled, they sacrificed horses in honor of Poseidon and wished for a safe journey. there for this made Poseidon very powerful.
