Martha was born on July 7th 1731

Sewed, rode horseback, cooked, hunted, danced.
Attended the Episcopal church every Sunday.
She hated violence and was always a peace maker. (Ironically she served in the war).
Wanted to set a good example by being brave.
Taught by Thomas Leonardo.
Taught until she was 13.
She was very poorly educated.
Daniel Custis when she was 19 in 1750.
George Washington when she was 27 in 1759 in the White House.
