gives the cell its shape Cytoskeleton structural proteins

gives shape and support Flagella they are large and long
helps the cell move as a tail
is a microtuble Golgi Apparatus it modifies, sorts,
and packages proteins to
store or to send out Leucoplasts plastids, no color
store starch, a carbohydrate,
proteins, and lipids Lysosomes digests and breaks down
old parts, nutrients, toxins
found in animals Mitochondria it breaks down glucose
to make energy for cell
has own DNA Nucleolus small and dense region
found inside the nucleus
makes the ribosomes Nucleus has DNA and
controls most cell processes
in Eukaryotes Ribosomes protein synthesis
made by the nucleolus
in cytoplasm Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum many ribosomes
a pathway for molecules
to travel through cell Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum it makes new cell parts
a pathway for molecules
detoxifies drugs Vacuole structure by pressure
stores water, nutrients, waste
