Caesar assassinated! Adopted son takes throne!
CAESAR KILLED: OCTAVIAN NEW ROMAN EMPEROR.
At age 16, Octavious had began taking on responsibilities through his family connections. In 47 B.C. he went to Hispania, to fight alongside Caesar. He was shipwrecked along the way, and had to cross enemy territory to reach his great-uncle—an act that Caesar thought was enough to name Octavius his heir and successor in his will.
The 17-year-old Octavius was at Apollonia when the news of Caesar’s death and his own inheritance arrived. In honor of his latee adoptive father, Octavian has now taken the name; Augustus Gaius Julius Octavius Caesar. With his help, Rome may once again rise to greater heights.
In the latest gladiatorial news, the recent fights have been extremely exciting. With feats such as a simple Retiarius beating a Hoplomachi by casting his net perfectly to catch his opponent and thrust his trident through his visor. Of course we can’t forget the spectacle that was the green Samnite who defeated the old and formerly undefeated Dimachaeri. Though some say the game may have been rigged but it was still a good show and made for much enjoyment.
In chariot racing news the latest race was won by racer No.II in a head to head victory with racer No.IV. he won just by a nose!
THE NEW ROMAN TIMES
In Tarsus, Mark Antony and Cleopatra finally “sparked.” Eyewitness say; “It’s the cutest couple I have ever seen!”
Other people say it’s sick, “The couple is so weird, I mean he looks 50 or 60 and she’s like in her 20's, So sick!”
Even more are startling to say about Cleopatra was; “She’ll go for any man, she went for Mark after Julius died, such a bad lady”
I know it looks a bit weird, but we should respect them. I’ve seen them myself and I say it looks like a cute couple. I’m not saying that because they told me to, that would just be hilarious.
Jupiter spotted in EPHESUS. The chief of the gods was spotted in Ephesus stealing women and goats for who knows what reasons. citizens of Ephesus need to be wary of his power. safety precautions include bowing down and promising sacrifices if you happen to see him
