The Delaware tribe spoke the Algonquain language. Men & women wore animal skins & furs men wore feathers on there heads too. Women made clothes,pots & baskets. Women were the farmers they grew corn, beans, squash & sunflowers. The men hunted deer, elk, black bear, raccoon, beaver, rabbits, turkey, duck geese & passenger pigeons.
