Introduction
Our topic is Child Abuse
Child abuse comes in many different forms including physical, sexual, and mental.
Physical Abuse

An act of a person(s) harming another person intentionally
It causes pain, injury, or any other bodily harm
Does not have to come from a person, it can also come from an object
Is less severe than torture
Mental / Emotional Abuse
Linked to physical and sexual abuse
This may result in psychological trauma, including anxiety, chronic depression, or post-traumatic stress disorder
An example of mental abuse is when a person purposely makes you feel bad about yourself.
Sexual Abuse
Physical Abuse
A NFL player recently abused his 4 year old with a tree branch
He left cuts and bruises on his son
This reopened the debate about the discipline for children and when you cross the line.

Conclusion of Child Abuse
Caused by physical and sexual abuse
Can be caused by physical and/or sexual abuse because of the trauma.
An example of mental abuse is when a person purposely makes you feel bad about yourself.
As you can see all abuses are or can be linked to one another, and all abuse can lead to other psychological problems, physical complications, and can cause a child to isolate or hurt him/herself
Many people don’t know when they cross the line from punishing to abuse and once they cross the line they can’t undo what they’ve done
Make sure you know when to stop from crossing that line and get help if you are being abused in any way
Child Abuse happens all the time but is less reported, don't be afraid to report abuse if it happens to you or anyone else.
