Transcript of CAUSE AND EFFECT
Cause is an action or event
The result of the action or event.
John didn't study for this test; he received an "F".
Cause and effect shows relationships between actions or events. In every day life, the actions you choose have reactions. This in itself is the very root of cause and effect.
An effect can turn in to a cause. Here's some examples of cause and effect relationships.
Can you think of a effect of receiving an "F"?
John was grounded because he stayed out past his curfew.
What is different about this example?
The effect is before the cause in this example. Don't be tricked by the phrase "cause and effect". Effects and causes can be anywhere in sentences.
What you just witnessed is called the "Domino Dffect" (literally). What really happened was one action caused thousands of results.
This is how Cause and Effect works in your daily life. Be careful and have a clear vision with your decisions in life, your fate might depend on it.
