WHAT IS THE COMPARISON BETWEEN PAST AND PRESENT TECHNOLOGY?
HOW HAS BANKING CHANGED BETWEEN THE GENERATIONS?
GRANDPARENTS...
As of banking for my grandparents, during their time period there were not many bank branches making it hard for traveling as well as the long queues and the process in which personal banking undertook was a very long process.
PARENTS...
Through my parents generation they experienced banking by going to the bank and doing it over the counter as it was the only option. Just like my grandparents this process still took such a long time.
The world has changed a lot in the past years let alone generations. The rapid development of new technology and the changing landscape of the online world has changed the way we work, do our work from and spend personal leisure time!
HOW HAS PERSONAL COMPUTERS CHANGED BETWEEN THE GENERATIONS?
Through my grandparents time period they had not experienced any personal computers as the place they lived was not a developed country, but they were introduced with computers when they had their own children later on therefore everything had to written whether it be for work, school or even at home.
My parents did not experience with any sort of personal computer up until they were in their late teens at school as it was so expensive to purchase your own computer as your own. But at the schools they attended there were only few computers for the student, and with no mouse to control the computer. This meant that everything was to be done with commands.
HOW HAS TELEVISION CHANGED BETWEEN THE GENERATIONS?
Through my grandparents generation they were not introduced in any form of television of any sort but they were capable of watching TV at their village cinemas but it was still black and white. Though they were capable of watching at the cinemas there were many defaults such as poor quality, poor voice overs, sound troubles for music, and etc...
In my parents generation they viewed television through a box/ chunky TV. The images were all black and white and the screen was quite small. They were later introduced to colour images but the structure of the TV was still the same- small screen and a box. The DVD players were not available and used other variables such as VHS. Even though they had computers they only had few certain channels, which led them to watch what ever was on. During this process of watching TV, they experienced really bad electricity, so watching something without any defaults was impossible and the chances of watching TV in such consequences was impossible to watch anything at all.
HOW HAS LISTENING TO MUSIC CHANGED BETWEEN THE GENERATIONS?
Through my grandparents generation they were not introduced in any form of television of any sort until later on but they were capable of wathing tv at their village cinemas but it was still black and white. Though they were capable of watching at the cinimas there were many defaults such as poor quality, poor voice overs and etc…
They did not have any personal music but my grandparents generation were capable of listening to national broadcast which was a radio station that only had certain music at local stores only
My parents were only able to listen to music during the broadcast of the radio. They were also able to only purchase cd’s which were quite chunky which was then to be put into a radio as was not that portable.

In the generation we live today, we can analyse how banking is so different from our grandparents and parents generation. In the time period we live in today, we are capable of both online banking through our computers and etc... and we are also capable of over the counter banking in which a bank is located in nearly ever suburb
On the other hand, computers are one of the technologies that has greatly evolved, most especially because they work easier, well organised and more convenient that using old ways of writing and computing files. From bulky computers with CPU, keyboards and a mouse they have transformed into portable laptops and net books which help access the internet immediately. New inventions of computers include the changes of their different screens like becoming glass touch, as well as being operated with the touch of our hand. It may feel like we're writing in our notepads, yet it is so much easier.

The television that we enjoy watching today comes from many processes. In "ancient times" televisions were usually in optical screens, black and white images and few channels, as well as an antenna attached to it. But today we live in a society where there are huge varieties of televisions which we can have and hold. They may appear in liquid crystal display and plasma display, with great sound systems and in flat screens for a clearer view. This is not all as new innovations of TV are multi-touch screens, allowing us to control everything while watching.
Music has enabled this generation to listen to music in so many different ways. We are able to listen to music in so many different locations, whether it be loud, using headphones or earphones. Our society lives in a period of time where every single music is online and ready to be heard.
