It takes at least 11 years to become a pediatrician.
Pediatricians perform tests to find out the health of their patients. What Pediatricians Do Pediatricians are physicians for infants,children, and teens. Pediatricians manage the physical and mental/emotional well being of their patient. They find information about how you are growing and treat infectious diseases,minor injuries, and vaccinations. Some pediatricians specialize in surgery and serious medical conditions. A pediatrician examining a child Pediatrician Schooling you need At OCS I will take biology, chemistry, calculus, and physics. Then I should also take child development, learn Latin, take advanced-placement or honor classes, and volunteer at a local hospital. After high school I need to take four years at undergraduate school. Then I need to take four years at medical school, and then take an internship and residency for three to eight years. Most classes I need to take in college are mathematics, physics, biology, English, inorganic and organic chemistry, and humanities and social sciences.
