Transcript of Nazi vs Attack on Titan

Their salute was directed toward the King and it symbolized offering up your heart to the service of the people and his majesty.
It is accomplished by placing your right hand in a fist over your heart and your left hand in a fist behind your back.
Nazi vs
Attack on Titan.

Nazi Uniforms
SS Brownshirts
Worn by the Nazis in 1929 until 1932.
Consists of a brown button up shirt, insignias, a black tie, black breeches, black leather boots, and belt straps.
Nazi Salute
Aka the Hitler Salute
The salute once belonged to the Romans and offered reverence to the great conquering Caesar of Rome.
The Nazis used this as a function that displayed commitment to the Party and a declaration of principle to the outside world.
The salute is achieved by extending your arm from your heart and then away from yourself. Your hand must be raised to eye level with the palm facing down and your fingertips facing the directed official.
Attack on Titan's Uniform
Consists of brown over coats, insignias, light shirts, white pants, knee length leather boots, and belt straps.
Similar Insignias
Nazis' Insignias consist of five standard badges and three varying higher up badges.
Attack on Titan's have three different types of insignias: The Garrison, The Survey Corps, and The Military Police.
Attack on Titan's Salute
How both Salutes are Alike
Both groups are offering their hearts to their supreme leaders.
They may not believe what the governing power has to say, but they know that it is their job to enforce justice.
Similarities between
Shingeki no Kyojin
(Attack on Titan) and Nazi Germany
Shingeki no Kyojin
not only references Nazi Germany and the struggles of World War II, but proves that the anime, as a whole, is one representation of Japan’s obsession with their former war-time comrades.
Shingeki no Kyojin
serves not only as a reference to Nazi Germany in small points, but as a reference in holistic perspective.
